Piccolla was created to help you make clothes you truly love, pieces that reflect your individual style and make you proud to say, I made this.
I’ve been sewing since primary school, and what began as a childhood hobby grew into a career spanning more than 15 years in the fashion industry. During that time, I’ve worked as a fashion designer and product developer for brands of all sizes, from teeny tiny home start-ups to large international luxury fashion houses, and everything in between.
Through Piccolla, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned over the years, from sewing fundamentals and garment construction to pattern making, fit, and thoughtful design. The sewing patterns are created to help you build skills while making garments you’ll actually want to wear, encouraging confidence, creativity, and personal expression.
At the heart of Piccolla is an appreciation for slow fashion and the value of making your own clothes. Sewing is a skill that deserves time, patience, and pride. By creating garments yourself, you reconnect with the process, develop lasting skills, and bring meaning back into your wardrobe, producing pieces that are valued, worn, and loved.
Alongside patterns, you’ll also find honest pattern reviews, practical tips, clever tricks, and sewing hacks, all shared with a realistic, experience-based approach. Piccolla is about fostering a deeper understanding of garment construction and helping you build a handmade wardrobe that reflects who you are.
